Accessories Bodyguardz protector and Drois 2 Global problem

I've now had problems with both the Dry-apply as well as the regular wet-install Bodyguardz screen protector. In both installs, when placing a call, the phone goes into sleep mode, requiring that you hit the button on the top of the phone. The bodyguardz folks say they've never heard of this, but both my wife and I have installed several of each with the same problem.
Any ideas?

Wait... Do you mean the phone goes to sleep when you put it near your face, during a call? Because it's supposed to.

If that's NOT what you mean, then go into settings and then display and then turn off "in pocket detection" The proximity sensor goes wonky sometimes, and screen protectors tend to make the problem worse.
