book reading

Hello All
I need some help to put e-books i have on a flash drive i i plug it in i see the books but i need a app to open them i got epub and calibra from the play store but i have no idea what to do next all advice welcome.
Step by step if possible please
 
Do you have the kindle app and an amazon account? If yes, head into the app settings and you should have a kindle email address, if you send the books to that email address using the email address you have tied to your Amazon account, they should appear on the device and be readable.

The flash drive opens in the media player in documents but I can't open them if you look at the next post after your post I tried that method and it opened one book in kindle that book was a PDF so all good there all my other books are in mobi I clicked one of them and it download to my app cool reader and showed up in calibre companion but I can't get it to open it's stored in storage/emulated/o.
Thank you both for quick reply any ideas of next move I am fairly happy about the book I managed to open that is the one I really wanted to read

After posting the book did download it also downloaded my music file and txt

The books in question come from TPB seem to have opened one but other stuff downloaded as well music files?
I tried to post screenshot but no luck size to big don't how to reduce it
I'm pretty useless really.
 
i use calibre and the kindle app to read all my books as i find it simple and foolproof.load up calibre and click add books and find the drive and add all your books to calibre.next convert them with calibre to mobi format and you can download metadata too if you wish(book info,book covers etc) then conect nexus 7 and calibre will recognise and you can then move books to nexus7 and use kindle app to read them.
