Boost Dealz

Just a heads up to anyone using the Boost Dealz app. I got my credit, but the auto pay system doesn't look at your account balance. They are allegedly working on fixing the problem, but until then you have to make manual payments to use the credit.

This would apply to credit earned from FreeMo too.

are you saying that the $5 does not credit to your boost account until it is a full month's payment? i'm not 100% sure what you mean here. was thinking of adding this myself but want to be sure it does what it says it does. i already only pay $30 and would love to get that down to $25. i could handle a few ads to save the few bucks

No, the credit is there, but the autopay doesn't look at your account balance. It just blindly takes the full amount. You have to make manual payments to use the credit until they get this fixed.

Cleaned up the OP so it makes more sense. I over explain sometimes. Sorry. :p

no problem, just wanted to verify. i use autopay as well for that $5 credit. not that big of a deal if it ignores the $5 until it's a full payment. a month free every 6 months is the same as $5 a month overall.

thanks for the heads up though. i'm sure it saved me a call to boost saying wtf!?!?!?

Yeah, that's what I did. Stupid oversight in the system on their part that shouldn't have been an issue in the first place.

I don't know if it will use the credit when there's enough for the full amount. You might still have to make the manual payment. Although, if it's not fixed before we hit that point, that'd be ridiculous. 6 months is more than enough time to add a simple function like that.

You should check out FreeMo too. Gets you $10/mo off, plus $5/mo per person you refer for as long as they use it. I'm using both...the FreeMo ad comes up before the lockscreen, then the Boost ad after. Worth it for a potentially free phone bill.

what is freemo? a google search only turned up a disturbing amount of model train fetish sites. i don't see it on boostmobile's site either.

never heard of this one.
