Help Boost Force Native Voicemail Notifications

AJM3RD

Newbie
Has anyone else ran into the issue of not receiving voice mail notifications? All I get on my device is the missed call notification, and that happens whether the caller leaves a voice mail message or not. I called Boost and the not-so-helpful customer service rep reset my voice mail back to default but that hasn't fixed the issue. I am rooted, I have the custom recovery that is listed here on android forums installed, I also run the stock dialer, and voice mail app that came with the firmware.

It doesn't have to be native Boost, I just want my voice mail to work. I tried to set up Google voice but it seems that it is compatible with everyone but Boost. Conditional call forwarding doesn't work either. It's all or nothing with this phone.

Can anyone help?

Tried both of those to no avail. After testing and all with stock I installed Droid Smith and that doesn't work either. I'm loving the OC CPU settings... but I still have my problem.

I've always had this issue, never found a fix but ever since I flashed cm10 I get this text every time I receive, listen to, or delete a VM. It looks like they're texts used to control the VM app (which cm10 doesn't have).

I'm working on it. Its really annoying to have to check vm all the time. I haven't found a solution yet.

In case no one knows what I mean.

If you are getting a text instead of a notification, go into the phone app pull up the settings menu. You will see voicemail. Tap that and make sure the voicemail number is set to your phone number.
