If I buy another phone, will it go up again? It wasn't my fault that the Samsung Prevail messed up from a Boost update.
I agree with wetb... they upped my bill when I go the marquee too. I just called them, and they fixed it... So, when my next bill came and it didn't reflect the change, I called them again, and they fixed it again. No problems since.
If you have concerns, just call them, take note of who, what, when, was discussed and keep an eye on your invoice.
If you do call them, express your (my) displeasure with them for their recent data throttling announcement. I have been meaning to, and I stopped at a Boost kiosk to do so, but the young man had really no information, and I was informed to call corporate.
I actually raised enough hell when I first switched over to the marquee from my prevail that they let me keep my $35 a month payment . I kept it for several months until I had to send it to the factory to have my MB replaced. While it was at the factory I switched my number to an older flip phone . I was assured I would be able to keep my $35 payment. Well guess what. Boosts lying ass would not give it to me and swore up and down that it could not be done. I told them to check my records and see where it had been done but they still wouldn't give it back to me. I finally gave up and almost canceled both mine and my wife's numbers.
Its still a sore subject for me to talk about. I cannot stand being lied to. Especially when its someone I'm conducting business with. Its a very good thing we were doing it over the phone that day and not in person.
And that's all I've got to say about that situation!
