Root [Boost Mobile] a big root mess

Snake X

Android Expert
Well, this was probably my own doing but I have led myself into a mess of things with rooting/unrooting. I have first updated SU app (seeing I couldn't update binaries first), then I updated the binaries. SU denied everything even after I set it to allow all, so I decided to unroot it using doomlord's script. Oh, and superuser didn't uninstall I don't think. I then tried to re-root my phone but got a nice output:

Code:
            OCR for ZTE Warp

             Using zergRush
(All credit for exploit go to the creators)

The same thing happened to me. Apparently when u update the binary it messes things up and denies access to all the root programs. I had to start from scratch and reset the phone with the ZTE update and re-root. That update program comes in handy when u "F" up your phone. :D

Yeah I was on my way to do that lol. I wonder what makes it mess up though?
Geez you guys should know better. Some people that havnt been on this forum I can expect this but you have been on here quite a while.
This is that same issue gone over a hundred times now. J/K :D
Unzip the root package to C:\ drive and run the bat file from there. Right click and run as admin.

well this is unexpected.. I have half root? xD

Your either rooted or not. In your case your not. Re-run warpdrive.bat. But dont do it from a temp directory like youve been trying the past few times. In other words stop trying to run it from a zipped folder. You have to unzip it first.

it's unzipped, I never run apps in zip files. Also I ran the upgrade tool to reinstall the whole thing and it still failed? wtf?

edit: I ran it from my desktop in the warp drive folder, but I'll try moving it to the c:/ folder (and yes I know you have root or you don't I was joking :P)

edit 2: still failed.. :s (Yes I have it in USB debugging mode and I have unknown sources checked)

edit 3: I did it! I got good messages and I think the difference was running the autorun when it poped up.
