Never knew this existed, specs similar to warp and it just got JB.

Unless you've been buying your Android gadgets exclusively from Google's Play store, chances to get your hands on the latest iteration of its mobile OS are still pretty rare. Color us surprised, then, when ZTE announce that one of its humbler handsets from last year is making the leap from Android 2.3 all the way to version 4.1. The China-only N880E appears to be only the third smartphone to launch with the buttery smooth Android trimmings, spread across a 4-inch WVGA (480 x 800) display. The smartphone holds onto the four off-screen capacitive Android keys and is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm processor and 512MB of RAM. ZTE is still keeping quiet on whether the phone will appear outside of China -- and is similarly schtum on its upgrade plans for the other smartphones.

as i've seen and heard before ZTE has no plans to elevate us to ICS let alone JB :( BUT on the bright side as this phone is very similar we can get the dump and work on JB that way :D

I've tried numerous times to get the n880e's ics rom to boot but I couldn't pull it off... I'm going to try using it with the 3.0 kernel that androidjerr made and see of it works then

Considering ZTE's past contributions to code, I think "dump" is the appropriate term. ;-)

The kernel source is interesting but needs modification to make it work, but its for the acqua series. Im waiting on another 3.0 release to compare and hopefully get a booting kernel

Google it... this is one of the VERY first official jb updates... I don think there are too many out there
