Root [Boost Mobile] [DEV] Question

Have any of y'll devs tried porting CM7 from a device like the Motorola Triumph? I'm a dev myself and I have a family member with the Warp that would like to root it and CM7 for the themes. How easy is it to brick the Warp? Also is LG Prada CM7 base?

Really, I'm CONSTANTLY flashing roms, and bootlooping with soft bricks...Have not had a hard brick yet. There are people working on CM9, I believe. CM7 is being worked on by QuietStorm, and if I'm not mistaken, he has an issue where it bootloops if you open the camera? Something along those lines, sadly.

Just for more information. We've all gotten stuck in a bootloop while attempting our own ROM's/CM builds. I don't think we've seen a hard brick yet, just soft ones.

The prada thread is about a launcher not a rom... and our cm7 thread can be found here http://androidforums.com/showthread.php?t=520573 ... and our warps are pretty sturdy... ive only seen two hard bricks on our forum... one was from meddling with unknown radio settings... and the other may have been a faulty unit... we soft brick alot though... I just soft bricked a few mins ago testing some new mods... but its nothing cwm cant easily fix...

LOL Nice to be known. Okay so you all have bootloops from the ones you build? Who has a private build? So I can get my hands on it a figure out how to fix the problems. I might just root the phone get a rom from here use it as my base then port the CM7 rom from the Triumph and see what happens.
