Root [Boost Mobile] Do you use V6, 3gTurbo or KAK?

This weekend im doing a walkthru with pics for v6 supercharger and the next day im doing kak then next weekend ill be doing them both at the same time so people can chose what theyd like to use but avoid 3g supercharger i hear only bad things for our phone. If youd like to use my walkthru when i post it it will be for noobV

Lol i already know how to use them...I'm just curious about who else uses them, with what rom/kernel and what settings they feel work best

On noob5 I had kak and v6 and saw no improvement so I switched back to super phone

Ok...there seems to be some confusion here. V6/KAK and Superphone are mutually exclusive. Superphone is a build.prop where as V6 and KAK are scripts that write init.d scripts... There would be some conflict with V6 and MrBobo's 55Swap because they both reset your minfrees and you would end up with which ever ran last... as far as KAK goes it adjust settings for your kernel, other aspects of your vm that v6 doesn't touch, net.ipv4, etc.

In a nutshell...there's was no reason to disable superphone to run them.

OK noob thing to ask but I'm runing noob v and I just wanted to know what's the benifit from v6 or kak? And what do they do this is all very interesting

Like I said above V6 basically adjusts your minfree values and fixes OOM groupings...which is basically androids built in task killer. KAK more or less optimizes your I/O, kernel and various vm settings (dirty_ratio, dirty_background_ratio, etc.).

V6 and N00B - Because N00B has a swapfile and sets it's own minfree values you would only gain an advantage by using V6's cust-OOM-izer to fix OOM groupings and minfree adj's.

KAK and N00B - Not sure how this will react with DTMs Glitch Kernel...waiting on UnkownUser1 to report on his findings lol.

FYI...I don't use N00B myself (no offense MrBobo...I'm working on my own ROM).

Thanks for the info noob v is a great ram I've haven't had any problems other then my battery is dieing way faster but any ways that's not a big deal just have to keep my phone on charge a lil more then I use to

I use v8.. drink it everyday..lol. jk
I use v6 on my bo8c rom with the stock kernel. V6 works well with downthemachine's kernel also but not with swap enabled. Also I havent noticed any considerable difference with the 3g turbo script running on stock kernel bo8c. I didnt try it in combination with the 3g/4g optimizer. Maybe ill get a chance to do that this weekend. As for loopy smoothness you definately get more responsiveness out of your device but i believe if you keep the system ui locked into mem it causes sticky checkbox issues.
