Root [Boost Mobile] Flashed

After u enter your hex and dec hit write

I only used cdma workshop to unlock the phone everthing else was done on dfs

Well did not know the cdma workshop demo was only good for so long now i cant open it says time expired dam

All sprint roms should work look at the post roms in this section

Sprint should work but probably not I have the boost version and once I flash any rom the camera doesn't work and 3g and 4g signal is lost or if I do it turns to 1x or 3g but no 4g now someone told me you can edit your apns and msl but I find the process tedious and I'd rather wait until someone makes a flashable zip and this still doesn't fix the camera issue and btw some roms I can't even flash I get a status 7 error and it abortions it
Now the sprints phone flashed to boost may be different but you will still have to edit your apns and msl right to get data working

That's why I started the thread we need a dev

Well I have my s3 flashed with a donor phone but I have noticed the 3g is a bit slow is there any way I can fix the 3g speed?

I would love to be able to flash my own phone like yours I'm still looking on eBay on some cheap good s3 sprint phone and ill do my best to find one too lol

just a couple of questions

how long did it actually take to you flash it to boost? I mean from start to finish and got service on the phone itself? Im still new at the flashing thing but im willing to learn.

Next is will there be a problem after flashing the phone to boost and then changing the rom? Since all the roms are sprint based is there an issue with that?

alright the guy was nice enough to reflash which did the trick turns out he used the wrong donor phone (zte) but this time he used a incognito so he could get the 3g codes off of it.

This thread really helped me out with flashing my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S3 to Boost Mobile, so I want to share something that should make it easier for other people, something I had to figure out along the way.

The code in CDMA Workshop that is sent to the phone when you choose the "Samsung Default" option is 01F2030F5F678FF9. This works on Samsung devices that are on Ice Cream Sandwhich (Android 4.0) or below. However, for devices on Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) and above, the Samsung unlock code was changed. It took me a long time to find, but the code for JellyBean devices is 2012112120131219.

Hope this can help someone out, and thanks for the thread!

Has anyone managed to get MMS working completely once flashed to Boost Mobile? I have tried the MMS Fix flashable zip file as well as manually programming the ##DATA# settings, but still no luck. My phone acts like it is sending them OK, but I do not appear to be receiving them. Thanks in advance if anyone has any advice.

Correction on 08-31-2013: After further testing, it seems that my phone is actually receiving MMS messages fine. The issue lies with outgoing sent MMS messages.

i have boost mobile and a boost S3...

idk if it would work but... you might want to try flashing a boost mobile boot.img...

i had to get root by flashing a sprint boot.img, when i did so my mms and a few other things y'all talk about did not work... but after flashing boost's back every thing worked normal

How do I know if it worked? I had to get a new boost account but have yet to pay the 60 bucks in fear of it not working. I followed step by step instructions. When I finished my phone lost signal and said searching. I did the ##msl# thing my phone rebooted and upon boot I had signal again. But in my settings it still says Sprint is my network

I was just reading all those posts for this thread and it looks like you guys went through a lot of trouble already... I was able to flash my galaxy s3 using galaxytoboost.com ... it already had all this info and steps laid out step by step in nice hd videos (which I like because I'm a visual kinda guy who prefers video to text).

Hope this helps any of you who are having a hard time getting your s3 flashed.

All you need is DFS..... Galaxy 2 boost is good but it can be much easier if anyone needs help PM me just make sure you have all your drivers for your phone and the free version of DFS... And we can get started and have it done in no time if you have all your drivers it wouldn't take us but 15 minutes to have it done

Ok few things you will need

1. cdma workshop newest verison demo
2. DFS free
3. Need to install get my msl from app store
4. drivers for your S3 just plug your phone in to pc and thats the drivers u need
5. Need a clean esn for boost i used the old samsung prevail wifes old phone but i changed the numbers will show u that later

These seem like the steps and applications i have read to work. i followed the steps and i called 611 to check if i was fully flashed to no success. Are there any other files associated with the full flash ie: prl list, nv profiles, or any other type of file that should be loaded and written into the flash. Hmm or maybe more actions taken in ##DATA#

i read many guides and these steps seem a little too easy lol. I am not complaining its just that i got lost in the simplicity of the guide. there isnt much room for error so i can really go back and tweak anything that isnt mentioned.

So in case i lost you... my question is: What am i missing if i have done all the steps and still find myself without boost signals.

PS i changed back to proper setting in DM mode: CDMA mode - MTP+ADB
