Just curious will I lose functionality if I flash the sprint apns or do I have to stick to boost apns? I'm asking this because I notice my signal is better on the sprint apns compared to the boostmobile.

No, as long as the APN is compatible I've run Sprint and Virgin APNs (like don't flash Verizon or AT&T/T-Mobile ones)

well i can give you a link to boost ones and virgin ones but the sprint ones come stock on ND8 roms and AOSP roms....
