Root [Boost Mobile] I'm curious if I use a saferoot that doesn't unlock the bootloader

But read about a saferoot not sure it will work on my phone
After that might just throw it to the wind and root and rom.
every phone ive had ive rooted at some point. custom roms only
usually when I think its worth it. ie rom is stable no new os updates for the phone anymore.
The rom doesn't break 4g sound etc without a fix.
And the headache of having to fix the phone during the week since I work monday through friday. If no one knows if the wolfdroid saferoot will work on the boost phone I will probably try and find out. My purpose to get stock root going, enable tethering and freeze battery draining apps with titanium. In a couple of weeks decide to stay rooted stock or go custom rom.
