lol, trust me the last thing I want to do is brick the phone. What is the difference betrween ndc and nd8 anyways? is it the same as d2lte? Im trying to get a feel for what I'm looking for and if by chance I find a way to get around this tether problem with out having to pay for it trust me you all will be the first to know. I make it a personal mission in life to make the impossible, possible.

NDC is Boost and ND8 is Sprint. In this case they represent both the bootloader and the modem. The modems can be ran on either carrier but the phone must be running a custom kernel.
The T stands for tri-band. I'm sure you can use Google to find out all the info you need.
NOTE: The Tri-band phone use a completely different modem. NDC and ND8 do not apply to the Tri-band phones. They cannot be used on them either. Flashing the NDC and ND8 modems on a Tri-band phone will result in a BRICK.
I Odin'ed ND8 on my triband S3, no brick, I just lost the Spark capability.
*edit* ignore me, mixing up my two devices, one with and one without spark. After posting I started to think, and checked.
Just get the app WiFi tether router from the play store. Like previous post said, conquest isn't designed for your phone.
