Hi, I was hoping i could get some help here i installed kies to hook my phone up to it by usb, im running rooted 4.1.2 +teamwin recovery but when i connect it it says unsupported device alert. The connected device is not supported by kies 2.6. Do you want to install kies 3? but it says the same thing for kies 3 unsupported device. I really dont know what to do about it.

i think its because you have a custom recovery

mine doesnt work either. probably cause i have cwm and cyanogenmod

yeah i was thinking it was probably because of twrp, hmm is there a way to remove root and go back to stock recovery

I would recommend keeping this thread open and have Shadowsun post the link for his fix so others who have this same issue can find this thread and get help.
They can also post in here if more questions arise:)
@Shadowsun, would you mind posting the link and what you did to fix your issue? ;)

Sure all i did was flash the odexed rom from here [ROM][MK5][STOCK][ODEXED/DEODEXED]- Virgin Mobile/Boost Mobile - xda-developers i could have also used that odin backup but i already flashed the 4.3 update. I'm not sure if the link was needed since its in the other post "4.3 is here." I first flashed the Philz recovery though.

Thank you kind sir for adding that information. You would be surprised how many people may find this helpful. ;)

Keep an eye on the thread in case anyone needs some pointers since you've already been through the process and know what to do. :)

Thanks for helping out in the section. :D

I just wanted to add that we have a great group of members in here who go above and beyond to help our fellow members who are just learning the ropes. I'm very thankful for that. Other sections dream of having the participation that we have here. :D

Anytime you do something to help better this section whether it be big or small, it is appreciated bro. :)

True that! Liked your previous post as well about the quality and helpfulness of the members; I am loving the way that Boost and VM are coming together as well to ensure that anyone who is smart enough to avoid a contract with a big carrier and is using this great phone can achieve the results they desire. It's funny actually, I see a lot of questions on the XDA side that we have already solved as a team here on Android Forums. Not knocking XDA necessarily, but the more likely response this thread would have generated there is a sarcastic or arrogant one as opposed to "Hey, we can definitely work this out for the betterment of this community!"
