Root [Boost Mobile] Landscape orientation rotates upside down

Stoken

Newbie
I flashed the 9.0 version of the Singularity ROM and now whenever I try to load anything in landscape mode it will automatically make it upside down, making it pretty much unusable. I've tried apps to calibrate the accelerometer and none of them seem to do anything. I'm pretty sure just the left and right is inverted. Is there any way to fix this? Tried looking at countless threads and haven't had any luck.
I don't know much about creating flashable zips/code for Android, but wouldn't it be simple to just make something that would simply reverse the code? Anything like that exist yet?
As a last resort I am willing to just switch ROMs, but I would rather not

You can't flash conquest singularity on a triband s3. You get flipped orientation. Hope you made a stock backup before you flashed. Restore your backup. There are no Roms or kernels for the triband yet. The "t" isn't showing anymore because conquest changed your build number.

I just bought a Boost mobile s3, rooted it as soon as I got home everything was fine then put sprint rom on and orientation flipped, I did a back up b4 but it must have saved to device instead of sd card and got wiped after I flashed the sprint rom because it is gone, Does anyone out there have the boost mobile rom 4.4.2, I can't seem to find any boost roms only sprint, please help, thx

Is it the triband model? That's usually the only reason orientation flips. In the boost section there is a stock ROM, but not one for the triband.

It's probably the triband model. The ROM changed the model number in the settings. You can use the TouchWiz 4.4 kernel from here to fix rotation with the Singularity ROM.
We could definitely use a kernel that fixes rotation/baseband for CM and AOSP ROMs though... I really don't like Singularity.

Yeah, switched to Liquid Smooth and I like it MUCH better than singularity. As for orientation I just use the app I mentioned and it stays in my status bar. Small annoyance having to change it every time I wanna watch a video or play a game, but pretty easy to get used to after awhile

I use rotation locker to workaround this issue. Works on all the rom's I've tried which is alot of them. If you really wanted to just change the model name in the build.prop lol ;)

Hi Stoken, as you I have the T model and have been experimenting a lot with it trying to find a solution to all of the problems it has. You said you switched to Liquid Smooth and apart from the rotation it works? You have radio, baseband, data, calls and everything? Because from my testing all of the AOSP roms ROMS that I have tried break the radio, unless you use the boot.img/kernel from the CM M10 Snapshot. Did you do anything else before flashing Luiquid Smooth?
