Root [Boost Mobile] Need help with splash screen

I don't know if it's the splash screen im thinking of, but there is an image that pops up on my phone on boot (before the green android) that I would like to get rid of, any know how to change it back to stock, or get rid of it? Thanks

if you're rooted then yes you can change the boot animation/and or splash. The boot animation is in your /system/media folder. The /system will need to be mounted as r/w if you want to change that file. (es file explorer?) find something suitable for you and replace the existing one. presto!

I understand how to change boot animations and such, maybe I should of made my problem more clear.

What I did was installed a rom, that rom had included it's own kernel. Everything installed correctly. So I used it for some time and switched it up. Now when I switched to another rom, back to stock kernel that splash screen that was installed from rom a carried over to rom b and i'd like to get rid of it.

Hopefully that clears some things up. Any suggestions on a fix for that? Thanks in advance

lol I should have guessed that! If my sinuses weren't acting up majorly I would of figured it out eventually but my sinuses are making my head pound and I can't think clearly lol thanks dtm appreciate the help once again
