long time lurker first time poster. i just rooted with CWM and also have Tweaknations ROM. so far so good except when i go to open an app or browser it has a short delay. anyways what i am looking for is a volume app. i can barely hear my phone when it goes off and volume is all the way up. what are some good apps to increase volume. thank you

Get a new phone lol if u try turning it up to much the speaker will blow the warp just has a crappie speaker in it

My only beef with this phone is the in ear volume and the speaker which isn't much better. I tried the free version of volume plus and it did nothing for in ear volume. Wanna say hi to the legendary Mr Bobo and ask you if you included that tweak when you noobed CTMod.

if i install this ROM will it automatically knock out the ROM i have? if not how would i switch to a different ROM?

Yes, any new rom that you flash will automatically overwrite the old rom.

Also, always make a nandroid backup prior to flashing any rom.

Yes it's part of the kernel ramdisk, a big howdy from Michigan

What's with ALSAmixer and mixget? I tried it, and nothing sticks. Does it even work with any roms? There are zero instructions and a million different settings. I understand each device has a different architecture and mixer settings will vary from company to company and so, but these guys don't even tell you how to navigate or use the interface of the programs they make, and I have to say I'm pretty good at figuring this stuff out. I just want to boost the headphone volume rather than the speaker volume...

Any tips, tricks or suggestions with or without these programs?

There was a guy who supposedly installed it into simple rom and said it sounds better, but i'm 100 percent sure this is placebo. All ALSA does is provide an interface to audio channels. Installing it alone isn't going to do anything.
