That's crazy Hummmmmmmm Yeah maybe you need to just flash the newest nightly I was on the one for Dec 9th but now I'm on the newest build but I didn't have any battery drain issues

Also it's weird on these as they claim my phone only had a total of 12 gigs of internal memory where our phones clearly have 16 not 12

Yeah that is weird but
I wouldn't know about that because I have used almost 6gigs on the phone itself downloading themer themes but I need to erase my internal storage because u noticed when I was on moar it made folders on the internal and I can't erase it but he os takes up space so that close to 7 plus on my end

You will never get the full amount of memory rated for either a phone or an SD card, there will always be partitions that will not allow you the "full" memory listed on the specs. Next time you have a fresh SD card look at the stats, a 32 gig will usually allow you access to 27 or 28 gigs of usable memory.

All so true I just assumed he knew this but this is probably more towards his answer than mines

So how do you install this? Isn't it just like any other zip? I'm asking to be sure....I got a installation status error 7 once and don't want to get it again!

Yes I am him from YouTube lol...anyways back on topic...I installed this and have no 3G or 4G...any fix...what did I mess up? WiFi works and that's it

Edit.I installed the latest version
..not the linked one

The personal version I uploaded has the assert lines removed so you should not get a status 7 error, which refers to a bootloader mismatch when the assert lines check for which bootloader is on the phone versus which bootloaders are authorized to allow the .zip flash to proceed. Install Philz Touch just to be thorough in case you aren't already using it.

You need to flash a fix for the APN's, I don't know exactly where it is posted on the Boost side, but I believe it was provided by junkie2100. We have the same issue on Virgin, but our APN fix will not be the one you need, that part is specific to carrier whereas the modified Sprint ROM is universal to both carriers. Wetbiker7 will most likely have the correct answer for the Boost side. Also, this is true for any custom Sprint ROM, so whether it is my version that I uploaded just to get some people started on the right path or a version you modified for your own use, you will always need to fix APN's if the ROM was not built specifically for Boost; for example, if you use jdsingle76's awesome Knox-free stock 4.3, there will be no need for a fix because the base ROM was meant for Boost and VM.

xda-developers - View Single Post - FIXED: Can't send MMS? Sprint / Boost / Virgin Mobile APN Settings Problem!

That's the Apn Fix. Appreciate the responses guys buy I am well aware of how the space on the internal memory is utilized by the os and the apps and such. With the stock rom when I glance at the Storage it shows that I have a 16 gigs of total space and then it breaks down what is taking up what amount of space such as system memory, unused space, cached data ect. With my external Sd card info below that. Now when I tried this rom or any of the other rom that isn't stock based, it only shows me that I have 12.03 of available space total. This is what I am questioning.

Cool, definitely no offense meant. I tend to explain things as if I'm talking to someone who needs their hand held step by step unless I know otherwise, so now I know otherwise! Don't have an answer for your specific question but will post if I find a solid answer.

None taken just wanted to clarify a bit is all :D Thanks again for the responses and for all the help in general with posting this.

Could I flash this even though I have a knox 0x1 bootloader or will i have to change anything? Thanks

No issues there, make sure you are using Philz Touch and put the latest SuperSU zip on your SD card just in case Knox tries to block root (version 1.80 of SuperSU is designed to overcome Knox attempts at blocking root access).

couldn't figure out how to get my networking back on with that APN business....went with the marines stock ROM instead...that worked for me

One more thing. Only MMS/SMS app that works is handcent. Apply appreciate fix

Edit: do not change settings in handcent leave it set to smart

That's what I thought lol I watched all you videos
You have to flash the zip I posted earlier in this thread to get data but here's the same one from the working Roms thread

Could you put the 4G zip in the asop rom area of the thread so people will know we now have a 4g fix just no mms I'm sure it'll work you'll just have to manually configure it and you already posted a tutorial on it
Here's the zip

The only issue is to get data to connect you have to turn off wifi and reboot and if you choose to use wifi you'll have to reboot again before the data reconnects

You essential have to choose one at at a time data or wifi but not both data is funk and won't reconnect after you turn on wifi

I would assume this may be a Boost issue as I have used the stock AOSP messaging app with zero problems. Then again, I also have no LTE and the fix for the VM side of things is specific to our carrier.
