Root [Boost Mobile] Official CyanogenMod 11 Nightlies!

Same here. I updated to newest d2lte Philz, flashed d2lte Carbon and didn't have to remove ANY asserts.

This is good news fellas! :D

This HAD to happen. It just did not make sense for us to have to remove asserts. This is 2014. LOL. I KNEW it could be done.

I am sure we will still have it on Roms with bootloader asserts.

Yeah. We'll still have to remove the asserts from some of the Sprint ROMs but that's cool. The Carbon team has taken a huge step in the right direction. Let's hope the rest of the Devs follow suit. :)

0219 nightly installed. No problem. Unlike Carbon. Lol.

Edit
OK, there are some problems with the radio on d2lte builds. It is not an improvement over d2spr. TW is better than both.

As far as I can tell, this applies to all Roms that are using the new CyanogenMod d2lte tree.

How can I if possible fix the SD card issues on this ROM. I can't save files to or even access it.

You might not be looking in the right folder. Try sdcard1. Not running CM11 right this minute but I did not have any problems with the external SD card. It is just a matter of what to call it.

Thanks yo however I did look. I even tried to write to it. It's the software for 4.4 Google isn't allowing writing to SD card wit certain apps only pics. Therefore its hard to download files or do anything with the software like play emulators like I was trying to do because it won't allow me to download to my sd card.

Oh, OK. I was not aware of any sdcard writing problems that have not been fixed on the d2spr builds.

I ran a nightly last weekend for about a day and had no problems. Have to give it another shot.

Edit
Oh, I think I get it. You are saying that your downloads go to internal storage instead of the SD card.

I actually like this. I go in and clean it up later and put them in folders on my SD card.

I think that there are apps that will redirect this for you. There is one called Redirect.

I was not too impressed with LTE and data in general in the 0225 d2lte build, when compared to the 0225 Carbon build. I don't understand why Carbon would be better. But it is.

Exactly. However my downloads are strictly to internal storage. When using dolphin browser since chrome doesn't support flash, videos I try to download don't work. They just won't save to SD card.

Not to cut anyone off but it is another KitKat ROM one that tuns very fast o OK I told a little lie . its two . one called mokee. And the other slimkat . they both cyanogenmod base with extra options

According to changelog for next CyanogenMod nightly, d2vmu will be added to the assert lines for the "approved" device check. True progress for VM and Boost users, definitely the next logical step for us now that d2lte is the current trend.

assert(getprop("ro.product.device") == "d2att" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "d2att" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "d2spr" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "d2spr" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "d2tmo" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "d2tmo" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "d2cri" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "d2cri" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "d2mtr" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "d2mtr" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "d2usc" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "d2usc" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "d2vmu" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "d2vmu" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "d2vzw" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "d2vzw" ||
getprop("ro.product.device") == "d2lte" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "d2lte" || abort("This package is for \"d2att,d2spr,d2tmo,d2cri,d2mtr,d2usc,d2vmu,d2vzw,d2lte\" devices; this is a \"" + getprop("ro.product.device") + "\".")

From the asserts of the most recent nightly, just downloaded it to see and voila!

Hey Guys is there a version I should be using to have Wifi, LTE, and MMS all working for boost mobile? Ive installed a re installed and cant seem to get everything working at the same time except the stock rom? Im got a boost mobile s3, because I had a sprint s3 flashed to boost, but I wanted 4g but ever sense I can seem to get CM anything to work correctly.

Ok read and re read things today and this is what I got on my phone today. I flashed it back to stock, had 4g, mms, wifi, did the updates prl / profile. Then I did a clean install of "CM11 Snapshot M3 w_Sprint Carrier Label 20140210". Right after that I flashed the MK5 modem. I rebooted and MMS is working and Wifi, but it wont switch to 4g at all its stuck on 3g. I havent yet even flashed Gapps, as I am trying to find some inverted ones. Is there something else I have to do to get 4G? Everything else seems good to go. :thumb:

Since there have been no new Carbon nightlies in a few days, I clean flashed the 0307 CM11 nightly.

Not too impressed with it compared to Carbon. I did notice that on the about phone / status screen there is some additional informative stuff about the connectivity.

Overall. I did not ever get LTE, only eHRPD, but that could have been the area I was in.

Carbon seems to connect and switch radio modes more smoothly than CM11 in my opinion, but I am sure that they will get it right.

I'm with you, Wy. Carbon just has more to offer right now. I went ahead and reflashed the latest d2lte build last night and it's running well. According to Struckn, the CM guys may have their issue resolved too. Let's hope so. I just checked and as of now there are no knew builds posted. Hopefully we'll see a new one soon. Until then, I'll patiently wait and be happy with what I'm running. :)

Cyanogen team just announced their newest Snapshot M4 build, blog announcement here, downloads not available yet as of this writing:

CyanogenMod 11.0 M4 Release | CyanogenMod

Previous two Snapshot builds ran very well for me, I expect nothing less out of this one, and it is the first since they went to the unified route.

Awesome! I had good luck with the last Snapshot builds too. As a matter of fact, I keep a backup of M3 on my SD card. :D

So as a follow-up to last night's post, after the initial announcement of the M4 Snapshot from CyanogenMod, the devices which have unified builds (ours, plus there are a couple of other devices) will not be receiving the M4 Snapshot build. Bummer for sure, but the maintainers for the various devices felt it would not be in the best interest of the users of those devices. Read more here:

Excellent article bro. Thank you very much for sharing it with us. I read it and think it's a shame that they aren't including the unified builds right now. Still, it is what it is and I'm happy with the nightlies.

OK fellas. Time to test some nightlies. It's been awhile since I've ran CyanogenMod so I went ahead a flashed the 7/27 nightly. I flashed the newest 7/26 dkp kernel too. So far so good. Still got to test Bluetooth and and all that but it's looking and running like a champ. :D

Hell I can't remember the last time I ran cyanogen mod. Maybe I'll try it again after another run at MIUI. :-)
