Root [Boost Mobile] port question.

i know this is the wrong place to ask about a different phone, but i have my friends lgl55c ( lg optimus Q) slider. there arent many if any devs for this phone. could anyone point me in the right direction on how to port cyanogen mod 7 from a different carrier to strait talk?
