Root [Boost Mobile] possibly breaking the device

If I install a camera app from a different phone for example the HTC one will I get those features on this phone? Like say I remove the camera app completely from this phone and install if possible the HTC one camera.....will I break my phone? That is just a example, however what I really want to do is remove the stock camera app from this phone and replace it with the gs4 stock camera. Any feed back will be highly appreciated just trying to do different things that's all.

Not really sure on that one? You can always back up your stock camera app with titanium or something. Then install the other one and see what happens. If it works great, if it doesn't, delete it and restore your backup and you'll be back to where you were. It is always a good idea to to make a complete nandroid backup too.
