I can't move anything to sd00, that location is empty too. The only location I can move to is emulated, other than external SD card. I moved the Ringtones to emulated folder and rebooted and the Ringtones DID Not stick it went back to this unknown Ringtones. Anyone have any suggestions? Like I said, I think I might have screwed something up when I activated and deactivated call forwarding.
The way some roms read is weird. I've seen multiple setups and some just have a weird Nameing/setup.
In this case you will have 3 or 4 folders.
Emulated
Sdcard0
Usbdisk
And
SD card
Of those you should only be able to read or see two of them, the rest will be empty. Those should be SD card and emulated, the rest are empty. Emulated will have 2 folders under it named
Internal memory
and
Legacy.
You will want to use the one named internal memory, make a folder called Ringtones. Mine is upper case R but I'm not sure if it has to be case specific or not. I just know mine is upper case R and the rest is lower case. Then copy (not move) your ringtones to that folder, it should then stick. You may need to reboot also. Again make sure you are in the internal memory folder not legacy.
You can do this with notifications and alarms as well, in their named folders of course.
I'm not sure why the legacy folder is there really, because from what I can tell is they are both the exact same thing. I do know the system uses the internal memory folder as apposed to the legacy folder.
I just thought of something else to.... Make sure you have read and write access to that folder too. Not sure why you wouldn't, just throwing all possible solutions out there
