Root [Boost Mobile] rooting issue?! SPH l710

Okay so I have a boost galaxy s3 sph l710 it's running on 4.4.2 kit kat
Hardware version: l710.14
Kernel: 3.4.0-1368792
Baseband: l710vpucndc
Build: kot49h.l710vpucndc

I tried using Odin 3.7 with the philz tar and When I go on root checker I still haven't gotten root access. This is driving me nuts and I'm not new to rooting. I'm just honestly unfamiliar with Odin and boost mobile.
Can someone please give me a step by step? I've gone through the previous posts and idk if I'm just missing something or this phones being a prick.

Well, you do know that you've triggered Knox now...... right? Really not a big deal in my book though. I chose to trip Knox on my phone too.

I recommend flashing yourself a custom recovery like Philz so you'll be able to make a backup of your ROM in case you get an app that screws your phone up.
 
I just disabled Knox and removed a ton of bloat ware. Installed su and busy box.

Do you know how to remove an old boost account from the phone? I have the MSL I'm just lost on what to do.
And do you know to switch the phone from sprint verizon? Like is there a flash or anything?

There's a good bit of information on Google telling you how to flash carriers.

I've never done it.
