Boost Mobile Samsung S2

Hi, I have a Q?

I've just managed to root my Boost Mobile Samsung S2, using Framaroot, but I'm having a hard time backing up the Official Firmware ROM, so that I can install a ROM without fear of having a very shiny brick. So far, I've attempted ROMmanager in an attempt to backup the Official Firmware ROM.

I don't have Clockwork Recovery (to my knowledge) installed, but I do have superuser, titanium backup and rom manager installed.

Since my phone is not on the rom manager compatibility list, I choose "unsupported device," and it asks if I've installed a ClockworkMod based recovery manually.

I don't know and don't believe that I have. How would I go about doing this?

I also flash SPH-D710BST_FI22_Rooted_Restore exe but in all honesty i know not what I'm doing. And i can't find a clear cut answer to my one question.

How to root, backup and install cm 10 on my boost mobile samsung galaxy s2.

Thanks for reading and/or helping me out!
(As a note, I'm new here, so I'm not sure if this is the right section. If not, I'm sorry and please direct me to the right section.)

I want to do the same as you and have tried installing cwm recovery as a epic touch with no luck. So far the best route to take that I have read is to get the sprint version so that cwm is compatible. Im on rooted gc0 but want custom roms to work.

Ill keep this thread in mind if I figure it out or if someone else has made this happen and can share the details. Good luck:)
