Root [Boost Mobile] Software Update?

I got the enhancement update and everything went OK but I'm stock boost. I haven't seen anything different so far but haven't looked close yet. It's jb 4.1.2 ant still have the same problems with SwiftKey and voice mail duplicate icons

I also had a issue with swiftkey whereas if I rebooted the phone, it would go back to stock keyboard. If you are rooted, get TB and freeze the stock samsung keyboard and when rebooting, it will stay with swiftkey. Thats what I have done and have not had any problems after that.

Yeah i also did too but I think that's a. Tw thing not SwiftKey because if guy change the default keyboard to anything other than Samsung and reboot I'll still switch it back to Samsung

I updated. Before the update I didn't have a single problem, and yes I did a factory reset after I updated. So far 1 reboot by itself while talking on the phone to a customer (not happy at all about that) and 1 touchwiz crash so far. I wouldn't worry about the update at this point. If you're rooted you can stop the update notification if it's getting on your nerves.

How do I go about stopping the annoying update? I just refreshed my phones service because I had very poor signal and the Samsung update keeps popping out now.

Obviously I can't test this, but I would assume you change your build.prop to fool Boost into thinking you're running the newest version. That's how I stopped it on my old phone.

I'm not really familiar with changing the build.prop on my phone never have tried it but ill look around the forums and YouTube on how it can be done, and also i wouldn't know exactly what to change there. Hopefully i find an answer in either turning off the Samsung software update popup/notification or having to change the build.prop.
