Root [Boost Mobile] Something really weird happened.

Okay, so, I rooted, installed CWM and flashed Warp Cream Sandwich on my friend's warp. He hasn't payed his bill this month, but after flashing WCS, he suddenly has service, such as data, phone, and messaging... so f**king weird. What could have happened?

Boost could've given him a free month of service. I didn't pay my bill in August (I was out of the country for the month), but gotten an email a week after my bill was due saying that they restored my service for the month.

Well, it happened right after I flashed the ROM.

Go to system settings/about phone/status and see if everything is in order.

Probably more to do with rebooting and reconnecting to the network as a result of flashing the rom...the network saw it come on and initiated the free time...

On cricket smartphones if they intake a certain amount of data after being activated for so long, They will get solid,steady,on-going 3g forever. I have a motorola evoke and Huawei Ascend M860 from cricket both have free 3g.

I experienced something similar after a flash. It wasn't a month maybe about 2 weeks and I was out of service be for I flashed and then after received msgs and calls.

Don't ask what rom it was... I can't remember.
