Root [Boost Mobile] We need a dev

So how long do you guys think it'll be before one of the devs from the Evo hops on over to the s3? There's alot of them over there lol

i actually need 3 files:

adb pull /proc/config.gz
adb pull /system/etc/apns-config.xml
adb pull /system/build.prop

the sooner i get teh files the sooner i can work on it all for yall :)
 
k i got the apn's and config.gz

d2vmu? i would have figured it woulda been d2bst and teh vmu would have been virgin mobile usa...


anyone mind giving me a run down of what is broken/isnt when you guys flash teh sprint cm10?

from reading the mms as always and 4g. it appeared to be modem and apn problem.
 
im uploading a test cm10.1 build now. i need someone to flash it and lemme know what works what doesnt. i added the fota apn's but all the core ones were already in the config.

once i narrow down what exatcly needs to be done ill pass teh info onto noobnl to merge in with the d2spr builds so you and teh virgin mobile users can just use taht one (hopefully with no mods/hack tweaks needed). that will get yall cm10.1 official, any other aosp roms yall want you guys iwll need to reach out to the respective teams. as far as touchwiz roms go, you guys need to reach out to teh rom devs.

as far as a return to stock, until you guys make an odin package id sugegst someone who has the least modded phone (ideally root and recovery only) do a factory reset in recovery and then do a backup and post it for everytone else.

i wish i could offer you guys more, but as it stands any time i do have for major development is geared towards teh metropcs sgs3 guys as they bought me one ages ago.

MMS and LTE is what doesn't seem to be working. Thanks for helping us out! We definitely needed it :)

Good to see you in here Shabby. Been a long while since the Prevail days man. :D

I know the guys are happy to have someone of your caliber in here helping out.
 
We just need a way to get the data profile correct on AOSP type roms to get data and MMS working. I've had no problems on TW roms because you can still access the settings in the hidden menu to fix MMS and can do profile updates to get data working. Oh and it's good to see you trying to help us. I enjoyed your work on the Prevail.
 
I've been running every 4.3 ROM on xda-developers for the sprint SPH-L710 on my boost SPH-L710 and everything including LTE Works for me. All I've done to get it working is. Change on both of the non ota apns.
APN to i.boost.ispsn
MMSC to http://mm.myboostmobile.com
Authentication type to PAP or CHAP.

Edit: I've also switched to the MD4 modem
