Hi there, I was just wondering of anyone has had a similar problem or knows how to fix this.

When I am at home connected to my wifi I no longer receive calls or texts, but I have full signal and have no problem making outgoing calls and and sending texts. However, as soon as I disconnect from my wifi I receive calls and texts as my phone goes back to normal. I have only been having this problem the last 24 hours, but it's extememly annoying and just odd as I didnt think the two were connected. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

It could be an app you installed that disables incoming 2G (voice and text) when you have wifi, it could be an update that Samsung screwed up or it could be something entirely different.

I think I have managed to fix it by going into the network settings deselecting auto and selecting allow gsm only. I have no idea what that means or what the implications are by doing that, but it seems to have fixed the problem as my phone has returned to normal.
