(Boost Samsung Prevail) problem sending texts to metro pcs users

(Im new here,but im not sure if this is the right section to post this in)
I have a samsung prevail with boost mobile and i have noticed that when i send texts to people that have metro as a carrier,my messages do not get to them. I have no idea why that is or what can be done to solve that.It only ever happens with people with metro and not with anyone else
Any suggestions/solutions?
