BoostMobile Customer Service quick connect tip

I just wanted to tip those of you who didn't know. When you call Boost Mobile Customer Care (611) and you don't want to wait forever to talk to someone or have to go through a thousand different menu options, just press 88 as soon as you hear the automated voice say "welcome to boost Mobile". When you do that it will get you in contact with a rep alot quicker!

(88) is actually for BoostMobile vendors to use like RadioShack, but I do it all the time so I dont have to wait.

Hope this comes in handy for you. =]

Ive known this since i got boost. They ask you for your vendor number, when u say "i dont have one" they get salty and redirect you to another service representative.

Well that sucks...They always ask me for a vendor # and i just avoid the question and starting telling them what I need...works everytime...well for me that is. I havent been redirected yet and i have probably called them about 6 or 7 times in the last 2-3 years.

When they ask you for a vendor number, all you have to do is say "i am the customer, the store employee started helping another customer while i was waiting on hold for your assistance."

Honestly, the times i used this tip i just kind of ignored there asking for vendor# and they assisted me, but my buddy always acts like he is in the store when he calls and uses the quote i used above. Verrrrrry important tip as boosts call center automated menu is a nightmare.
