Root Boot animation sizing

Using photoshop what are the sizes of the pictures. I set it to 480 Width by 427 height. The animation works fine but it doesn't fill the whole screen I thought these were the correct dimensions.

Well actually no, I found out how to resize it, but what size is perfect to fit the whole screen?
