Boot animation sound

To change/turn off with a root explorer navigate to system/media/audio and find PowerOn.ogg. Rename it .old and that will turn the horrible VM boot sound off. To change it just rename a mp3 to PowerOn.ogg and paste it. Worked on rooted stock GB28 rom.

Can anyone confirm that this works? I tried it but it don't work.
