Help boot animation?

how do you create your own boot animation?
i see lestatious has done it and im wondering how hard it is? and if anyone has any information on it?

also, im running lestatious v1.7, if i get an animation how do i get it onto the phone as the bootanimation? do i place it in a folderthen run the bootanimationupdate MS-DOD Batch file? if so which folder?

I haven't really message around with this, but in lestatious update v 1.4.5 not 1.4.5.5 you have an option to change the boot animation. Maybe if you just edit his current boot animation and flash it using the boot animation bat file that he gave you in that zipfile, you could just use that?
