Root Boot from sd card and reinstall

What am I not understanding? I am attempt to reinstall the software for my tablet. WM8650. I have the files I need: ramdisk (image file), system (image file), uImage (file), updater (file), and userdata (image file). Why can I not just copy these files to my micro sd card and they install? I have tried to create a bootable sd card. Some method I have tried over the past few days are, just reformat the sd card in FAT32, IUW1.2.exe (but it ask for *.ius files which I do not have), Flashboot.exe, and WinHex (Clone Disk). I do not understand what I am missing. I want to be able to put the files I need on my micro sd card, put that into my tablet, and then have them install onto my tablet. What am I missing? Am I not able to do this? How do I get the os software reinstalled onto my tablet? Please Help!

Thanks,
-Mr. (Really) Frustrated

If you have a WM8650 tablet, you do not need to create a bootable sd card .
please format (fat32) and copy all ROM files on sd card ,
then boot your tablet,

if it does not work probably you have to reset the sd card slot inserting gently a paper clip in the slot.
