Root boot logo

Look in system/media/images I used root explorer im on da bus going home from work n saw this.
 
Found it, its under custpack>JRD_Custres>media and there is the bootanimations.zip and shutanimation.zip

Edit: I looked in the zip and it appears that the metro PCs splash screen is in there as well.

Edit: Derp , I remember now about someone asking if it would work for our device, I looked on their website but it doesn't look like it is.

Before this phone I used an app called ROM toolbox pro, you would have to set the install location to custpack>jrd_custres>media for it to work. Then you just download and install whatever animation you want, they have a lot to choose from.

That doesn't work I tried weeks ago. You have to download the animation and make a companion gif file.

EX: Bootanimation.zip and Bootanimation.gif

Haven't really gotten on to work right. So RomToolbox Pro is essential still.

The resolution is 960x540 though soooo that's a hint.

So how would you change the bootanimation? Do you use ROM Toolbox or replace Bootanimation.zip and Bootanimation.gif yourself?
