Root Boot Loop problem with my ace

I'm a noob when it comes to android stuff so take it easy on me. The problem I have is I was trying to fix the small internal memory issue, I decided to part the SD card and use link2sd to move the apps. So I rooted the phone by installing Superuser 3. 1. 3, this caused me no problems but when I tried to install Clockworkmod (the zip was simply called ClockWorkModAce. zip) and I rebooted I got stuck in a boot loop. So I decided i'd just deal with the memory problem and restore the original firmware, so I downloaded Odin 4.something, Cooper_v 1 .0. ops and an original firmware (from sammobile. com I think) and all the required USB drivers, but Odin4 wouldn't locate my device, so I resorted to using Odin307 and it did locate it, but when trying to install that firmware it just came up with failed, also tried another but I can't remember what one it was. I can get onto my boot menu (i've tried factory resetting everything) and I can get onto the Downloading menu (gave me some trouble but I've mastered it) So what I need is a solution, maybe I need a different firmware, I'm not sure but any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
Jordan

How did you root your device?
Simply installing superuser does not give you root access.

You must use the Odin that is meant for this phone, other versions can cause damage.
Try Odin again, follow the steps carefully.

Unfortunately attempting to restore the phone to its original factory firmware I have managed to hard brick it. It wont turn on or anything so I think i'm going to just take it back to the shop. Thanks for the reply's though guys
