Help Boot loop problem?

I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me with a problem I'm having with my S3. If I touch the power button at all these days, my phone goes into a boot loop that requires a battery pull (sometimes two or three) to break.

I got rid of Chrome and Facebook as I heard they can cause this kind of trouble, but not joy.

Anyone else had this problem?

Sounds like the phone could use factory reset. Did you download any firmware updates? What is the current version you are running?
The auto reboot and boot problems, along with Sudden Death Syndrome, has been addressed via number of firmware upgrades in past few months.
