Root "Boot up failed" when installing recovery to Moto G

Hi guys, I'm trying to root my 4G Moto G LTE 1st Gen! (XT1039)

I have successfully unlocked it. I have installed ADB and Fastboot to my Win7 laptop. I have turned on Developer Options on my phone. It's got an 8GB memory card in it. I've tried installing clockworkmodrecovery.6051.falcon.img, philz_touch_6.50.6-falcon.img, and recovery-clockwork-6.0.4.7-falcon.img, but every time I put any of them on my phone and click on Recovery (in Fastboot) it flashes to the "Warning: Unlocked Phone" screen and then back to fastboot with a "Boot up failed" message. I can still use the phone in normal powerup mode though.

The full text in Fastboot is:
"cmd: getvar:partition-type:recovery
cmd: getvar:max-download-size
cmd: download:0083b800
cmd: flash:recovery
Mismatched partition size (recovery)
Boot up failed"

Any help would be awesome :)
Thanks!
