Root Bootloader problem?

Do you need to be on stock to flash an unlock_code.bin to unlock a bootloader? I didn't go back to stock and did it any way. And now it boots into a loop with the "android" logo that kind of flashes from left to right.

I can go to bootloader. It says i'm Unlocked. Whats the deal? Dx
Went to recovery and it reports that I need to wipe cache as it is unaccessible. I did it. Rebooted and still bad boot. Recovery again works fine no errors, go down to Info in 4ext recovery and it lists my partitions. All of them are fine except for Data which has 2 --'s through each line for free and used. I formatted data and it's back to 1.1gb. Now i'm restoring a nandroid.

Okay nvm this whole thread is pointless. That was just a weird encounter.
