BootLoop Problem

I bought a G4 last June. It died from BootLoop earlier this year. I got a replacement from AT&T. The serial number was higher than the problem phones, so I thought I was out of the woods Today, the replacement phone died of BootLoop . Of, course, since it is out of warranty, AT&T will do nothing. LG will repair it at no cost if 1) they determine that it really is BootLoop ( It is. I've been there before.) and 2) there is no damage to the phone. So, just a warning, the BootLoop problem can come back to bite you in the butt after a replacement.

My 505 bootllooped 3 weeks ago, Verizon replaced it with a 506 (which must be a refurb). So far the replacement device is fine, no crashes or unusual behavior. If the 506 fails though I plan to dump the phone, maybe replace with the new Pixel.

Other than bootloop the G4 is a good Android phone.
