My Optimus S is stuck in a bootloop after VD upgrade. I can get into recovery (thunderc) when rebooted it goes to the ANDROID screen and sticks please help!!

"VD" is a radio and software update recently released by LG for the Optimus. It has wreaked havoc on those who have tried to root or retain root. The only way you can retain root is to update using the LG software updater tool. If you accept the update OTA you close the rooting loophole. OP, did you update OTA?
