Help Both Yahoo and Hotmail email accounts not syncing with server.

I recently noticed this issue after i updated my phone sometime back to what it is now Android 4.3, my carrier is verizon 4gLTE. model number SCH-I535, Kernal version 3.0.31. i setup both my yahoo att email account and hotmail account on my phone. the issue is when i delete the emails from the email server they still appear on my email box on the phone. I notice that the setting or configuration to set this piece is not there anymore " delete from server" and or sync from server. i cant find any setting that relates to this anymore on my phone so basically it does not sync correctly with the email server.

Delete the email account and start over but pick "others" and do a manual set up and then a POP3 account. You will then get the option to delete mail from server.

Also, before you do this, you will have to log into your verizon wireless account and pick the "change features" option and remove the email account setup. Otherwise it will try to access Verizon for email account settings.

not sure about yahoo, but I use the outlook ap for my 5 Hotmail/live accounts, and it works just fine
