Bottum part of digitizer doesn't work

Any way to cut the part of the screen that doesn't work off? I tried changing density but it just makes everything smaller I want to cut off some of the width of the screen the broken digitizer part

Yup, that's what it is. There's a layer between the front glass and the LCD, usually it's an integral part of the front glass assembly.

Don't think there's a way of like blocking off like an edge of the screen, where the digitiser is defective, stop anything going on there.

Ah that stinks cause my new phone got bricked so i am using my old qwerty phone which my friend borrowed and broke the digitizer lol I'm not rooting phones anymore I get to into changing them and brick it and make the wife go nuts lol
