Bought used Android

Hi! I just bought a used Android off ebay and have a couple of questions. It's a v1.8.2 and I am wondering how I go about updating it (if need be). How do I make sure it's running at its best. Also, the YOUTUBE videos won't play. Should I update something? Occassionally, the test is in Spanish, too. Thank you!

My guess is that the Galactus is one of many Chinese knockoff tablets. I did a quick Google search and found little on the tablet. You'll need an Android distribution from a similar device or something direct from the Galactus's manufacturer to upgrade this tablet.

It is a chinese knock-off. Like the aPad and ePad. The thing is it might not really be running android but a fake that has it's UI.
