Boxwave has several different types of screen protectors. I used to have their anti-glare one on a Treo which I loved.

I've been using Boxwave ClearTouch Crystal screen protectors for many years now and IMO, they are the absolute best. I've always used them with resistive screens up until now, but they've always seemed to give a better feel than even just a naked screen.

They're a little pricy, but well worth it if you want a good screen protector. I can't stand the "orange peal" and "tacky" feeling of the Zagg screen protectors...

I haven't decided yet on whether or not I'm going to use one with the EVO. :o

My biggest concern is the way it feels to the touch. I've heard great things about Steinheil Crystal... and it seems that Boxwave is similar in quality. I do not want the tacky feeling.

i was looking for the matte feel. kinda like sandy feeling when your scrolling through. this is also the ones that don't give fingerprints

Yea, matte is great for fingerprint prevention. There is a really good video on youtube of the Steinheil screen protectors and the difference between the matte and crystal clear version... a guy puts one of each on two different iPads for comparison. It's basically what sold me... check it out. (i dont know how to embed yet lol)

I'm another Boxwave fan. I use them on all my devices and have never had a complaint. Even my Nook has a Boxwave protector. One thing I love about Boxwave is the longevity. I've never had to replace a Boxwave screen protector. They've always lasted as long as I've had my device.

Boxwave anti-glare or Boxwave Crystal?

I'm not 100% sure on this, on bigger screens I love anti-glare but on such a small screen that can very easily be tilted or moved to avoid glare I don't know if it is as such of a big deal.

I'll probably get an antiglare though as I have terribly oily fingers and I hate looking at my smudged up iPhone when it is off (when the screen is on I can't see the finger prints).

Gonna help some of you out! The boxwave anti-glare is the best that I have seen next to the anti that apple sells in there stores. I am definitely putting it on the evo. As for glare, the HD2 was a killer...couldn't see anything in direct sunlight. So I would opt for the anti-glare on this baby. Yes it will steal a tiny bit of vibrancy, but the trade off is worth it, it's a pretty big phone and it looks terrible when its all finger printed up....just my 2 cents.

And for some comparing Steinheil and boxwave. Boxwave is better when it comes to anti-glare, its a little clearer and easier on the eyes and does not distort text and dull the color nearly as much as the steinheil does. As for the crystal clear one, both companies are pretty equal, and look and work the same way.
