Help Brand New Bricked DX

I got my DX today and I got it activated, next I installed Dolphin Browser, then I went to update to 2.3.15, now I have a fancy paperweight. Ohh the joys of technology. I figured there would be a few bad apples and just my luck I got one of them.

Did you buy it new from Verizon? If you did, maybe just take it back and get a new one. Should only take a few minutes. Hope it works out.

Have you attempted to do a factory reset?

What steps did you take to do this. I'm assuming you were on 2.1 prior to this?

Were you updating to the OTA 2.3.15 or the leaked? If it was the OTA, return the phone. If it was the leak, you need to SBF and update to 2.3.9 first.

Well I was attempting OTA, then phone decided to brick itself, bad thing is no store in Souther California has this phone in stock, so I had to order it, and it is kind of a pain to get my phone activated back on the account and deal with all that since my old phone was not a smart phone. So... I am phoneless till Monday at the latest.
