Hello all,
I just received my G2 Touch this morning with a Combi 30 + Web contract from T-Mobile. I was in a bit of a rush to get to work, so I stuck the SIM in the phone, powered up a bit and headed off. Now I've found out (via a text message from T-Mobile) that my account is out of credit and has been deactivated. I was given a number to add more credit to use the phone again. I know this is wrong, I mean I just got the phone on a new contract.
Does anyone know why this may have happened? I didn't read much of the instructions, do I have to "activate" my SIM somehow or something? Seems very strange that a brand new pay monthly SIM (labeled as such) is asking me to add credit.
I can't use my phone at all! Please help!
(FYI, I've contacted T-Mobile too, awaiting their reply. Asking here because I figure you all may be quicker than customer support)
