Brandnew Droid X

OK so the LOW BALL offers are flying at me like crazy and this is getting very annoying. So here is my price.

$500 shipped to your door.
 
Good luck getting $500. The droid 2 is due in a few weeks and soon after it comes out the price of the x will drop. Ill give you $350 for it. If someone wants to buy a droid x at retail price theyll go to a store, not some stranger.

Go check ebay man. There were atleast 10 ending today that had several bids, WAY over $500. The last one I looked at was at $550 with free shipping. Maybe $450-$475 for used, but mine is brandnew. And dont forget, very very few retail stores have them instock. I will ship mine out as soon as the money hits paypal and you would have it in a few days. If nobody wants it here for what I am asking, I guarantee I will get more than $500 on ebay and thats where it will go.
 
I'm not in the market for an X, but $500 seems like a fair price, given the back-order status. Good luck with the sale.
 
$500 is fair. Only problem with eBay is that paypal will hold the money until they leave feedback, then you have 3% taken out of that. Then eBay takes 8% of your sale and then shipping and your insertion fee. Might as well expect to get $60-$90 less than you will sell it for after everything is paid.
 
I want a X but I live in Vietnam and the X does not use a SISM Card. There is also a problem unlocking it. Guess I will have to wait for the next BIG Screened Phone. I will do a search for the Droid 2. Hope it has a big screen.

The paypal thing has a work around so they dont hold the funds. But you are right about the final fee. Thats the kicker. It costs .10 cents to list, and when it sells it costs you like $40! But they are pulling mid $500's on there and that will cover the final fee to get me $500. And I dont pay for shipping and Im not going to make the buyer pay either, so it seems like a fair deal. If anyone is interested, we can forego the ebay crap and I will sell it here. But I will not consider anything less than $475 shipped to your door. That should make you feel warm and fuzzy like you got a deal.
 
Bought two. One for me and one for the wife. It took her 30 seconds after seeing it to not like it because of the size. Got her an incredible instead. So this one is still new.
 
why didnt both of you or your wife go to a verizon store and have it tested out (when it came out) to see how this x goes before getting one?

Why don't you just put in on craigslist in your area--hope this helps out sir...end of story
 
Actually my wife got.a.look at her sisters new droid incredible the day before they arrived. She didn't look at.the inc at the store but fell in love with it a.few days later. She went out and bought one before i could return the x. So i decided to sell the x to recoupe the inc cost. That's it. No funny business.

What in the world makes you think the Droid 2 will make X prices drop? The X outspecs the Droid 2, and IMO the D2 is for people who want a smaller form factor and/or physical keyboard. Nice try to lowball though. $350 new is ridiculous, again, IMO.

Haha not including the camera and sd card size, the droid 2 is identical in hardware to the x but like you said, smaller form factor with a physical keyboard and the D2 will probably have 720p video recording anyway.:eek:

Anyone looking at purchasing the X right now is or should be considering the D2. IMO Asking $500 for the X was never going to happen when a better phone is coming out.
 
Exactly, not including the camera and sdcard size they're identical, which means the X narrowly outspecs the D2. Plus the X has the gorgeous big display. Obviously the D2 is for people who want the keyboard but other than that I cannot see how it can be considered "better". If you don't use the keyboard, you're just stuck with a thicker phone. Besides, he's selling the phone brand new, and right now it's sold out everywhere. If you look on ebay the ones close to closing are around $575-$600.

More features crammed into a smaller phone=more expensive phone. It isnt affordable to throw in a bigger sd card because the D2 is more valuable. The x may take marginally better photos at best but its selling point is the 720p video which the D2 will also have.

The x is too big. Thats why its for sale. The wife didnt want it cause its too big. Ill do $375
