Root Bricked Droid Razr

Hello, I am new to this forum.

I will try to explain the best that I can about how I got into this situation.

I was previously running on ICS 4.0.4(don't really know if it is .211 or .214 or something.). I tried to root it using Matt's Droid Razr Utility 1.7. I didn't really know what to do and was stupid enough to follow the video in the help thread(which was for upgrading from GB rather than rooting an ICS). Then I panicked.

I used option 1, followed by option 9, followed by option 3, followed by option 2, and then all four in random orders. Later on, I realized that I had to recover from the .211 file in the sd card after option 1(failure on my part). However, now whenever I try to enter recovery, I get Invalid Flash Mode Boot failure, whereas a normal boot will give me Invalid Flash Mode Flash failure.

I tried to use ADB tools and it didn't work.

I tried to use RSD Lite to uncompress the .211 zip but it came up with a XML error.

Any way out of this? Thanks in advance.

Try DLing utility 1.81 and putting the phone into FB mode and flashing the .211 update.

When I try to run the utility, it says that 'moto-fastboot' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file when I select option 6.

What should I do?

Edit: I tried to edit the filepaths in the .bat file. Now when I launch option 6 it says unable to load boot.img.

I'm running on 64bit. When I run the 64 bit driver installer, it asks me if I want to repair or remove, so I already have it.

Edit: I just added the path where I extracted the folder to my PATH. Now I get the unable to load boot.img again.

I finally got it to work by adding a filepath to things like boot.img in the .bat file.

I tried option 1 and option 6. I'm still getting the failures. What do I do?

are you using the cable that came with your charger? it wont work without a moto usb cable.

the 1.81 utility comes with newer drivers than the previous 1.7. reinstall them.

My drivers are the same as the ones provided by 1.81 utility. The cable I am using is the one that came along with the charger and phone.
