so while i was working on installing a new rom via clockworkmod i accidentally formatted my sd card so now i can not restore is there any way to fix this. All it does now is stay on the boot screen or i can boot into recovery-clockwork or put it into odin mode. Does anyone have any ideas on how this might be possible to fix? urgently looking for a reply. Thanks ahead of time!

Try the "all things root" section or better yet, don't go messing with your phone unless you are prepared to brick it and pay for a new one.

sounds to me like all you need to do is get a sd card reader/writer and put a rom on there then flash it. As long as you can get into recovery your phone is absolutely not bricked.

Flashing a ROM will write folders and files to the card that Android needs. I would format the card from the phone's recovery to ensure read/write compatibility. Next, cable up to your PC, get into USB Storage mode and copy a ROM to the card. Toggle out of USB, back out to the main menu, get into Install from zip and flash the ROM. You should be good to go.
